Who’s going to win?
In the 21th century people want to know: who is smarter – man or machine? And poker fans are still wondering if a computer can beat man at poker.
Phill Luck and Ali Aslami took part in the first poker competition between computer and man. They left the artificial intelligence program Polaris behind.
The second competition between computer and man will be held in the Rio Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, in Jule 2008. Nick “Stoxtrader” Grudzien will play Texas Holdem against the machine. But the creators of the Polaris program are sure that it’s almost impossible to beat their machine.

The table will be set up so that new players have such key poker elements as rating of hands according to value, choice of possible actions and so on.
