Poker Terminology
All-in "all in"; When a player bets all his/her chips.
All-in A player may declare himself "all in" and bet all of his chips into the pot.
Ante A small amount of chips placed into the pot before each hand.
Bankroll All money of the player for game
Bet To put chips into the pot
Bet half the pot To put half chips into the pot
Bet the pot To put chips into the pot
Big blind The larger of the two forced preflop bets. The player to the left of the small blind posts the big blind, the blinds ensure there is always money in the pot and "action" on every hand.
Blind To put chips blind. Big blind and Small blind.
Board Table. The cards in the middle of the table that are shared by everyone.
Bring-in The first bet (except Blind and Ante), which you must do for beginning to play in this deal.
Button "dealer button" indicates who is effectively the dealer
Buy-in Amount of money which is necessary for taking part in a game

Stack An adjective describing general amount of chips
